Miss Alia started dancing with Prestige Dance Academy at the age of 7. Throughout the years she has trained in styles such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap and completed many dance exams including, Advanced 1 Ballet, as well as Intermediate 3 Jazz and Tap. In recent years, she has participated in both the apprenticeship and STEP programs at Prestige, where she has been able to share her passion for dance and continue to learn in the classroom. She was a part of the mentorship program which allowed her to connect with the younger generation and continuously pursue her want to have a deeper connection with the prestige community. This year she is thrilled to be overseeing the mentorship program and is looking forward to meeting new Prestige students, as well as helping build a bond between mentors and mentees. Miss Alia is going on to complete her high school diploma, and is hoping to pursue post secondary education in engineering. As an honors society student at Western Canada High School, she loves to continuously be challenged and learn from those around her. She is thrilled to be joining the Prestige team as Administrative staff and looks forward to seeing where dance can take her in the future.
