Miss Ginny began dancing with Prestige Dance Academy at the age of thirteen and has studied many styles of dance, her favourite of which was ballet. She participated in several RAD ballet exams during her time with Prestige.
During her final year at Prestige, Miss Ginny participated in the Student Teacher Education Program (STEP), where she assistant taught in acro and discovered her love of teaching acro and dance. The following summer, Miss Ginny completed her Modules 1 and 2 certifications with Acrobatic Arts.
Miss Ginny attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB, for a Bachelor of Science, with a Biology Specialization in Developmental Biology and Physiology. She has since returned home to pursue her passion in dance. While in University, she joined the University of Alberta’s Cheer Team, and continued to teach dance at studios around Edmonton.
Miss Ginny has completed her first year of the Teacher Training School Program with ADAPT, in jazz and tap. Miss Ginny has also completed her Module 1 certification with Alixa Flexibility along with her Foundations, Module 1, and Module 2 certifications in TADA hand balancing.
Outside of dance, Miss Ginny’s interests include swimming and scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and pets.
