Miss Jody’s journey began in Taber, Alberta with a love for gymnastics. She competed in gymnastics for 10 years and became a certified coach at age 14. She coached gymnastics for 12 years in several locations from Westwinds Gymnastics in Lethbridge, to Cal East and Mount Royal Gymnastics Club (now Calgary Gymnastic Centre) in Calgary.
After taking a hiatus from coaching gymnastics to raise her family, Miss Jody was introduced to the world of dance when her girls started taking lessons. Miss Jody has been a presence around Prestige for several years now. She has a true passion for acro and for the dancers she teaches.
Miss Jody is a fully certified teacher with Acrobatic Arts, Module 1 certification with Alixa Flexibility, and has her Foundation, Module 1, and Module 2 certifications in ADA hand balancing. She is also a member and certified coach with the National Coaching Certification Program specializing in Gymnastics, and a member of the Gymnastics Canada Organization.
Miss Jody is married and has three children. In her spare time Miss Jody is very handy. She enjoys projects such as woodworking, rebuilding her vintage Honda Trail bike and Chevy Camper Van, and walking her dog, Penny.
