Miss Kayley has studied various forms of dance including Highland, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Musical theatre. Her true love has always been ballet. She competed in many competitions across all four prairie provinces as well as in Houston, Texas and Maui, Hawaii. She also completed many of the ADAPT jazz and tap and RAD ballet exams.
Her professional dance experience included being a member of the Calgary Stampeder Outriders and the Calgary Roughneck Drill Crew for 6 seasons each. She was named the Captain & Assistant Coach for her final two years on the Outriders. As an Outrider she travelled to 6 Grey Cup Championship games and performed in the half time shows that featured Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Tragically Hip, Nelly Furtado, Lenny Kravitz and The Black Eyed Peas. She is a current member of the Canadian Football Cheerleader Alumni Organization and continues to volunteer many hours to local charities.
In 2002, when Prestige Dance Academy first opened, Kayley was honored to be their first ballet teacher. She taught at Prestige for 10 years before becoming a full time mom. Both daughters, ages 9 and 7, are in the Prestige Intensive Program and share their mothers love of dance.
Miss Kayley is thrilled to be involved with Prestige for the 20th season both as a dance mom and dancer in the adult classes. She is excited to take on her new role in promoting the studio through various social media platforms.
