Miss Lindsay began her dance training in Lacombe, Alberta, studying various disciplines including jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre, hip hop, acro, and contemporary, before moving to Calgary to further her dance education.
In 2014, she completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Dance Major, Choreography and Performance Concentration) at the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts. Miss Lindsay has been awarded multiple grants allowing her to travel to New York and Montreal to train with international dance artists and companies such as Batsheva Dance Company (Israel), Madboots Dance (New York), Frederick Gravel (Montreal), and Ami Schulman (South Africa). She has performed with local contemporary dance companies, La Caravan Dance Theatre, Sesol Dance, and J-Sik Movements. With La Caravan she had the opportunity to participate in a two week residency at the Banff Centre.
Miss Lindsay is fully certified through Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT), and she has completed her Module 1 & 2 Acrobatic Arts certification course as well as her TADA Foundations and Module 1 certifications in hand balancing.
